Hey. I am now going by my name on here as I am moving to new projects. Cool Projects. Including to new webcomics. I am going to put the Description of Jonah and the Whale here. If you have any interest in my art or me, PLEASE read Jonah and tell other webcomics fans about it.
Jonah And The Whale:
Jonah And The Whale on Newgrounds
It is the story of Jonah. Jonah lives in a different world than ours. This is the story of his life from the ages of 21-70 years old. At some point in his Fifties Jonah lives for 1 year in whale.
The idea of the art comes from trying to explain this concept of cartooning. There are no shortcuts when it comes to making a representation of a person that isn't a person. Anthropomorphizing is a start from scratch art from. I wanted to make a character that could answer the question "How does a Square sit on a Chair?"
If you can imagine all the ways a square sits on a chair, you can make cartoons.
This is the first pages of the comic book. I don't know how the rest will be released but my ideal would be that I can make it work for me as a webcomic.
It'll be funny, weird, reverent, and irreverent, and not too serious but like serious and all over the place with an eerie sense of focus. I hope everyone enjoys.
I also did a neat 1 shot for @dannygoodshirt 's and company's Newgrounds Jump One Shot contest. I thought it came out neat. I wanted to only use the pens I carry around with me to make this style. I did manage to photo edt it to make it v sharp and I like how it came out but I would've liked to have found a more easy to travel with pastel or charcoal but they were all too messy. I like the shading now but maybe more smudgey type stuff in the future if I find a good solution to carrying around those supplies.
